I know things are crazy and hard right now and I wanted to touch base on a few things with you. We know your vacation plans are uncertain, but we want you to know that we are here for you. Let’s talk about what that means.
What Have We Been Up To?
We are taking care of our clients by canceling, rebooking and modifying vacations and everything in between. We are helping people make informed decisions about changing dates, canceling now or waiting. There is so much information out there as well as rumors and misinformation. We are able to help our clients have all the facts so they can make an informed decision.
Now, more than ever, our clients are glad to be working with Magical Memory Planners. There are very long hold times with various travel destinations, but we don’t have long hold times. Our clients can get in touch with us via email or phone and we get back to them quickly.
How Is Our Business Doing?
Many people have reached out with concern for us as a small business, especially in the travel industry. Let me assure you that when this passes and you are ready to travel again, we will be here to help you every step of the way. Don’t get me wrong. This is certainly a tough time and unprecedented situation which will test our skills to the max. Yet I am confident that every one of our agents here are professionals, we work as a team, and we will be here for a long time to come to help you plan your magical memories.
How Can You Help?
Some have asked what they can do to help. Here are a few ways you can help us (and other small businesses for that matter). Leave reviews on Facebook or Google for our business. Reach out to your agent and see if there are any places they prefer a review be added. Refer us to your friends and family when you hear them looking to travel again. This will be a huge part of the recovery of our industry. With any small business in your community, they will need your business, your referrals, and your reviews to help them.
Be Positive
With all the stresses today we encourage you to look for the positive. Whether it be more time together as a family or taking walks outside. If your kids are not in school maybe they can write a letter to a family member or even to a relative in a nursing home. I’m thankful that spring is coming and look forward to summer. Be well and thank you for your support.
