The Margaritaville Island Reserve is a new resort in the Riviera Cancun area. Carla Haydt, a Magical Memory Planner, had an excellent experience here with her husband and shares it in this podcast. She also visited a few other local resorts in the area and shares some other favorite resorts.
Margaritaville Island Reserve is a family-friendly resort. The resort has three main restaurants including Latino, Frank and Lola’s, and the Beach House. Room service is also available. The resort has pools, swim-up bars, and a beautiful spa.
What Makes Margaritaville Island Reserve Unique?
Top of the list is probably the floating taco bar. Who doesn’t want to eat tacos, in a pool, in Mexico!
This resort has a Joe Merchant’s that has a point system to “buy” items for your room. The resort is a good medium size and the staff is very friendly.
When it comes to health and safety, they have you covered. Carla shares her experience with their cleaning protocols and their onsite testing program. Carla also shares one of the amazing properties she visited in the area Azul Beach Riviera Cancun.
Azul Beach Riviera Cancun
Azul Beach Riviera Cancun is a great, family-friendly resort in the same area. This resort has large rooms, a kid-friendly water area, and a mojito bar in the lobby that you will not want to miss.
Traveling with little ones? No problem, they have everything you need for small children to make it easy to pack. Want a little something extra? You can purchase a special turn-down service that includes wine for mom and dad and cookies and milk for the kids.
El Dorado
Another beautiful resort in the area is El Dorado. This large resort area is made up of several resorts. El Dorado Generations is for families, El Dorado Royale is for adults only, and they even have El Dorado Casitas that are more private, concierge-level vacationing options.
