Updated in 2024
I have seen a lot of Disney Bucket lists and since I have a lot of ideas floating around in my head I thought it would be great to put them down. Here they are in no particular order. *This list is from 2011 and has been updated in 2024
1. Eat at Victoria and Albert’s Chef’s Table
✅ 2. Stay at Polynesian – I have stayed at the Polynesian a few times now. We stayed in club level once which was really spectacular. I also got to take my mom the Polynesian which was on her bucket list too. That was extra special!
✅3. Stay at the Grand Floridian – I have had several opportunities to stay here as well. I always stay in one of the outer buildings though. I still would like to stay in club level or in the main building here.
✅4. Take my daughter to the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique – Thankfully I got to do this with her once before she aged out. It was a fun experience and then we had a meal at Cinderella’s Royal Table. She loved it so much that we wrapped her bun in toilet paper and a hair net and she wore the look another day.
✅5. Visit Disneyland – I have been to Disneyland at least 5 times now and it is my favorite Disney park. I love how the parks are so close together, that it is where Walt walked, and the attractions. They have some of my favorite attractions at Disneyland. You can find out more about why we love Disneyland too.
✅6. Take a trip on the Disney Dream and/or Disney Fantasy – Only one check here because I have sailed on the Disney Dream but not the Fantasy yet. I have also been on the Wonder, Magic, and the Wish. I may have to update this to include the Disney Treasure and the Disney Destiny when they start sailing.
✅7. Enjoy the Food and Wine Festival including attend seminars – I have attended the Food and Wine Festival almost every year. I have not done any of the seminars and I don’t know that they have very many of them anymore so I’m considering this checked off my list.
✅8. Go to the Night of Joy weekend – I’m so glad I got to do this before it ended. My daughter and mother in law spent the weekend at Polynesian and attended both nights of Night of Joy. It was amazing!!
✅9. See the parks and resorts decorated for Christmas – I have done a lot of this including attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The parks are beautiful and so are the resorts. Grand Floridian has a life size gingerbread house that smells amazing and Beach Club has a carousel made out of gingerbread too. It’s a great time of year to visit.
✅10. Take an Adventures By Disney Trip (or two) – For my 40th birthday I got to go on the Adventures by Disney trip to Costa Rica. It was AMAZING!!!! I can’t recommend it enough. Even though I don’t know when, I’m sure I’ll take another Adventures by Disney Trip. If possible I would pick Italy or Greece. Those itineraries look amazing.
