Welcome to those of you joining me from Your Highway in the Sky or those of you who have just hopped aboard. I am the 2nd stop on our Magical Blogorail.
It is hard to pick a favorite Disney theme park because there is something different I love about each one. As a child my favorite was the Magic Kingdom of course. There were only two theme parks at that time and River Country. I remember DREADING the day we went to Epcot. I thought it was boring with too much walking.
As an adult my opinion has changed. I would now say my favorite theme park is Epcot. There are several things I love about it. First, I love the pavilions of future world. Each one is like its own little world. You go into The Land, The Living Seas, or Imagination and stay a while. Its a great break from the heat or rain. Its a much more involved experience than just a ride.
I also love the countries. I love trying to eat something in every country. I love the shops and finding some authentic goods. I especially love learning about the country from the natives.
Now that I am a teacher and mom I love the educational value. I love the diversity and respect for cultures that is displayed. I can’t take my kids on a trip around the world except for at Epcot.
The biggest reason I love Epcot is the Food and Wine Festival. Last year was the first time I attended this event and I am sold. I love all the food and countries represented, and the food. Did I say the food? I do really like food. I hope to be back during the Food and Wine Festival again.
I would love to hear what park is your favorite and why. Leave me a comment and let me know.
Thank you for joining me today. Your next stop on the Magical Blogorail Loop is Adventures of a Disney Princess

I love Epcot too for all the food, drinks and shops. Now with three little ones, we don’t get to spend as much time in World Showcase as we would like.
“plan a trip during Food and Wine Fest without the kids and spend a couple of days in Epcot” is on my husband and my “Disney to-do list.” we have the same problem as Beth, 3 kids and not enough time in Epcot! Lots to love about it.
Lori
Looks like we had the same mentality as kids!
I too dreaded our Epcot day except for Journey into Imagination… now that is the only thing I dread in Epcot! I sure wish they would bring back the original Imagination!!
That’s my favorite Disney park too! I love the Food & Wine Fest as well…I kind of wish they had it all year long, but then that would take away the anticipation of waiting for it to return each year.
Beth, I too loved Journey into Imagination as a child. My parents had to take me to Epcot just to go on that ride. I miss the original Imagination so very much!
Love Food and Wine festival!
After visiting for Food & Wine the first time this last October, it’s hard not to love Epcot since it has taken me to whole new level with that event. I do love Epcot, as probably my second favorite park.
I absolutely love the Food & Wine Festival…it is the best!!
Thank goodness for Kim Possible! Luckily our 8-year-old likes Epcot quite a bit but we get even more time there with the help of a Kimmunicator and a mission to save the world.
