There are so many great options at Epcot. Where else can you eat authentic food from so many different nations in one day. Although the list would be very long of best places to eat in Epcot, I will try to focus on the places that appeal most to families with younger children.
Best Places to Eat in Epcot
Snacks
When it comes to snacks I love to visit the countries to get a taste of some authentic international cuisine. Here are a few good options: Boulangerie Patisserie (France) where you can get some delicious French pastries, Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe (Norway) featuring Norweigan specialties. The best part is the shaded outdoor eating area. A great place to enjoy a treat for you while your kids nap in their stroller. The Cool Post (between Germany and China) has soft serve ice cream. Of course there are lots of ice cream carts all over Future World. My all time favorite is baklava in Morocco.
Quick Service
My number 1 favorite outside the countries is Sunshine Seasons in The Land. There is a wide array of choices here including lots of healthy options. Its a big change from the burgers and fries of other places. There are sandwiches, soups and salads, a grill area and wok shop. You can eat and take turns going into Soarin’ if you have little ones that can’t ride. Of course there are lots of quick service places in the World Showcase too. The countries with quick service are Norway, American Adventure, China, Germany, Morocco, Japan, and United Kingdom.
Table Service
Again its hard to choose. I could spend my whole life eating in Epcot and never get bored. On that note, I think the best places to eat with kids is either Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway or Teppan Edo in Japan. The first, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, offers a princess meal that is only 1 table service (as opposed to the 2 table service meal at Cinderellas Royal Table) My family really enjoyed our meal here. They have a breakfast, lunch, and dinner option.
Teppan Edo is a fun Hibachi restaurant where they cook on the table. We find it keeps our children quite entertained. Please remember that even when you first get there the grill on the table is already hot. You can also order sushi if you like.
There are several higher end places that are great for adults or people with older children and are still 1 table service such as Chefs De France in France.
Best time of year to head to Epcot and eat is during Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival. What are your favorite places to eat or favorite things to order?
